The eruv, proposed by the East End Eruv Association in 2011, incorporates all or portions of the following municipalities. These municipalities are all located within the Town of Southampton, New York.
The Village of Westhampton Beach is located on the south shore of Long Island in the Town of Southampton approximately 75 miles east of midtown Manhattan. It is 2.9 square miles in size and has a full time population of approximately 2,000 expanding to approximately 20,000 in the summer season. The Village of Westhampton Beach is the center of activity of the greater Westhampton area.
The unincorporated hamlet of Westhampton is primarily residential and is directly to the west of the Village of Westhampton Beach. It lies within the Town of Southampton.
The unincorporated hamlet of Quiogue is located between Westhampton and Quogue. Quiogue is primarily a residential hamlet. It lies within the Town of Southampton.
The Village of Quogue is located directly east of Quiogue. Quogue is primarily a family oriented, summer resort community. It lies within the Town of Southampton.
